Each his neighbor they help, and to his brother he said: "Be strong!"

This last summer 150 children from underprivileged families took part in the municipal summer camp. With the donation of Mr. A. Barber, V.P. Boeing Israel, the children were able to fully participate in the activities of the camp with all other children, join excursions such as most memorable day trip to the Meymadion Water Park in Tel-Aviv, take part in sport activities, and much more.
The summer camp is for them a refuge from the street, a haven for those who, coming from large families with daily economic difficulties, would not be otherwise able to cover the expenses involved. Only the significant donation enabled them to spend the summer in this high quality summer camp.
The children in need attended a very enriching program, participating in a wide array of activities. In sport, they had a professional instructor who trained them for fitness and exercised them in various sport games. In the field of arts and crafts, they were taught to create jewels, pictures and other features. "The development of creativity while playing and the feeling of successful achievement is for the children an empowering instrument, building self confidence and motivation", says the workshop instructor. The children also saw theater plays and entertainment performed within the summer camp.
A most significant aspect of the summer camp was providing the children a protected, secure environment, a highly needed respite from the continuing security threat posed by the daily rocket shelling.
"The club gave me all along the summer a terrific fun. Without it I would just turn around in the street doing nothing", says Nathan, one of the children.
"I wish to thank all the generous donators for their important contribution", strengthened his words one of the children's mothers.
